1 Dead After 2 Men Shot in High Point

HIGH POINT, N.C. (WGHP) — One man is dead and another is seriously injured after a double shooting in High Point on Friday night, according to the High Point Police Department.

Officers responded to an assault call on Willard Avenue just before 9:30 p.m. and found two men suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Police identified one of the victims as 35-year-old Quadarius Hill of Greensboro, who was found inside a vehicle. The second victim, a 31-year-old man, was discovered inside a nearby home. Both were transported to the hospital, where Hill later died from his injuries.

Authorities believe the men were shot at another location before driving to Willard Avenue. Investigators say the shooting appears to be an isolated incident and are currently searching for a suspect.

This marks High Point’s fifth homicide of 2025. Anyone with information is urged to contact the High Point Police Department or Crime Stoppers.
