WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A tragic incident occurred on Saturday evening, as a 19-year-old was shot and killed at a park on Granville Drive in Winston-Salem.
At approximately 8:05 p.m., Winston-Salem police received a report of a shooting on the 700 block of Granville Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered 19-year-old Reaylie Trinidad Noyola suffering from gunshot wounds in the park. Emergency Medical Services attempted to assist, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
19-Year-Old Shot Investigation Underway
The shooting is being investigated as a homicide, but authorities believe it was not a random act of violence. Police have not yet released information about potential suspects or motives related to the incident.
