Kinston, N.C. – A tragic incident happened on Friday, November 8, when a 2-year-old daughter was killed in a hit-and-run at the Carver Court Apartment Complex in Kinston, North Carolina. Emergency responders rushed to the scene, finding the young girl and a 35-year-old man—later identified as her father—severely injured.
2-Year-Old Daughter Killed in Kinston Hit-and-Run Incident
The child was immediately transported to UNC Lenoir Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. Her father was taken to another hospital, where he is reported to be in fair condition.
Kinston police identified the father, Rashon Wade, as the suspect in the hit-and-run. He was arrested and now faces charges of second-degree murder, two counts of felony hit-and-run, felony serious injury by vehicle, and driving while impaired (DWI).
