
GREENSBORO, N.C. — A tragic incident has shaken the community after a 4-year-old girl left and dies in hot car in Greensboro, leading to felony child abuse charges against her father, according to the Greensboro Police Department.
Father Charged in Daughter’s Death
During a press conference Monday afternoon, Assistant Chief Ric Alston confirmed that 30-year-old Shyheim Deion Moore has been arrested in connection with the death of his young daughter. Moore is facing felony child abuse charges and was given a $250,000 bond.
Police said the 4-year-old girl died last Wednesday after being left unattended in a hot vehicle. The circumstances of how long the child was in the car have not yet been released.
