North Carolina deputy charged after crashing into parked cars.

A Catawba County deputy, Jarrett Carl Isaac, was charged after crashing his patrol vehicle into several parked cars while responding to a 911 call. The incident occurred on September 16, 2024, when Isaac swerved to avoid a truck and lost control, colliding with three parked vehicles in a parking lot. He sustained minor injuries, and one person in a parked car was also injured. 

Deputy involved in reckless driving.

The sheriff’s officer stated that it was a domestic – related call, and the deputy’s vehicle was not using emergency lights at the time or siren  activated.  After consulting with the  Catawba county district attorney’s office, NCSHP gave a report, which stated that, Isaac  was charged with reckless and  careless driving  and with speed is considered a factor in the crash.

Isaac has been issued a Citation, in which he is going to appear in court at a specific date.
