Three standout restaurants in Greensboro have earned national recognition from Wine Spectator magazine for their impressive wine programs. Green Valley Grill, Print Works Bistro, and GIA Drink. Eat. Listen. We were each honoured with 2024 Restaurant Awards, placing them among the top wine destinations in the country.
Each year, Wine Spectator evaluates restaurants across the globe, celebrating those with thoughtfully curated wine lists that offer quality, variety, and a strong connection to their food menus.
Wine Spectator Awards
Green Valley Grill
Located adjacent to the O.Henry Hotel, Green Valley Grill received the Best of Award of Excellence—a high-tier honour given to restaurants with deep wine selections and a commitment to pairing excellence. With more than 500 wine offerings and over 75 available by the glass, the restaurant continues to be a leader in Greensboro’s fine dining scene.
Print Works Bistro
Print Works Bistro, located at the Proximity Hotel, earned the Award of Excellence for the twelfth year in a row. Known for its French-inspired cuisine and elegant atmosphere, the restaurant features a wine list of more than 215 bottles, with 75 available by the glass. Its continued recognition reflects consistent quality and dedication to hospitality.
GIA Drink. Eat. Listen.
GIA, the modern American eatery and lounge on Battleground Avenue, was also awarded the Award of Excellence. This marks the restaurant’s fifth year being recognised by Wine Spectator. GIA’s curated list focuses on boutique wines and creative pairings, offering a unique blend of upscale food, drink, and live music in an intimate setting.
