
GREENSBORO, N.C. — A tragic accident has claimed the life of a 25-year-old woman after an early-morning crash on Creek Ridge Road. According to Greensboro police, the victim, identified as Brittany Danielle McDuffie of Greensboro, was riding an electric scooter when she was struck by a vehicle on Friday morning.
The Incident – Woman Struck While Riding Electric Scooter on Creek Ridge Road Dies
At approximately 4:51 a.m. Friday, Greensboro police, Greensboro Fire, and Guilford County EMS responded to reports of a collision on Creek Ridge Road between Riverside Drive and US 29. Investigators say McDuffie was traveling east on an electric scooter when a vehicle moving in the same direction struck her.
Emergency crews transported McDuffie to a local hospital, but despite medical efforts, she succumbed to her injuries on Sunday.
Driver Remained at the Scene
Authorities confirmed that the driver involved in the crash stayed on scene and cooperated with investigators. No additional details about the driver have been released at this time.
