GREENSBORO, N.C. – Police confirm that 1 was taken to hospital after shooting in Greensboro on Friday evening. According to a news release from the Greensboro Police Department, officers responded to a report of gunfire on Burnt Poplar Road.
At approximately 5:25 p.m., officers arrived in the 6400 block of Burnt Poplar Road and discovered one person suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency Medical Services transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment. Their current condition has not been released.
