3 Shot at Dallas Immigration Office

DALLAS, T.X. — Authorities confirmed that 3 shot at Dallas immigration office on Wednesday afternoon, leaving multiple people injured before the shooter died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials.

ICE Confirms Shooting and Casualties

Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons confirmed the incident during an interview with CNN. He said investigators are still working to determine the identities of the victims and whether they were employees, detainees, or visitors at the facility.

“It could be employees, it could be civilians that were visiting the facility, it could be detainees,” Lyons explained.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem also addressed the shooting, noting that details were still emerging. She confirmed multiple injuries and at least one fatality, in addition to the death of the gunman.

Motive Still Under Investigation

Officials say the motive for the shooting remains unclear, though Noem acknowledged a recent uptick in threats and targeting of ICE agents nationwide. Federal authorities are now working alongside local law enforcement to investigate the circumstances surrounding the attack.
