Jamilla Pinder

Jamilla Pinder, who was appointed earlier this year to fill the late Yvonne Johnson’s At-Large seat, is now running as an incumbent. Known for her compassion and advocacy, she currently serves as Director of Community Engagement and Impact at the Cone Health Foundation.
During the pandemic, she led an equity campaign that brought testing sites closer to working-class neighborhoods. Pinder champions the rights of the unhoused and collaborates with groups like the IRC to ensure financial and social support for vulnerable residents.

Since her first endorsement by Guilford for All in 2022, Cecile Crawford has stayed deeply involved in Greensboro’s civic and social landscape. A former Chair of Labor and Industry for the NAACP, she’s been a steadfast advocate for fair wages, tenant rights, and community cleanup efforts through projects like Bingham Park Revitalization.
Cecile co-launched the Keep Gate City Housed coalition, uniting tenants, grassroots organizers, and allies to combat eviction and promote housing stability.

April Parker (District 3)

April Parker is a respected grassroots organizer focused on empowering communities of color and working-class families. Her governance vision centers on collaboration between local leaders and residents to make Greensboro more equitable and responsive.

Tammi Thurm (District 5)

Known for her compassionate approach to public service, Tammi Thurm understands the systemic causes of poverty and believes in the city’s responsibility to help those in need. While not always aligned with every Guilford for All position, Thurm has shown integrity and openness to collaboration.
She played a key role in the city’s partnership with Affordable Housing Management, Inc., helping create a $4.3 million, 16-unit supportive housing complex for families transitioning out of homelessness.
