RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — A mother and her two young children have been reported missing in Randolph County, prompting an active search by local authorities.

Who Is Missing
According to the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, 28-year-old Alexis Leanne-Rose Davis and her children, 4-year-old Athena Allred and 1-year-old Alex Allred, were reported missing on Wednesday.
Last Known Location
Deputies say Davis and her children were last seen at their home on Wayne White Road around 10 a.m. Wednesday. Investigators have not released information on where the family may have been headed.
Davis is described as approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, with long dark hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt with a heart, black leggings, and brown UGG boots. Authorities note she has a nose piercing and a tattoo of a blue beaded bracelet with a feather on her right wrist and hand.
The clothing the children were wearing when they were last seen is unknown.
