RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — A man in Randolph County is now facing a total of forty charges related to sexual exploitation of minors. Brandon Dale Sylvester, 32, was initially arrested on August 14 for felony second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and felony third-degree exploitation of a minor.
40+ Charges For Sexual Exploitation
Following further investigation by the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, authorities discovered additional evidence that led to more charges against Sylvester. He is now facing twenty counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, four counts of indecent liberties with a child, ten counts of first-degree statutory rape, and six counts of statutory sex offence with a child aged 13 or younger.
Sylvester had previously bonded out of jail on his initial charges but was taken back into custody on August 16. His new bond is set at $50,000. The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with information related to this case or similar incidents to come forward.
