A walkertown man charged with felony murder.

James Wilford Huff, a 34 year old man from walkertown has been charged with felony murder following the tragic death of a child under six years old. The Forsyth county sheriff’s office reported that the child died from severe injuries and it is suspected to be the result of child abuse, which allegedly occurred on July 21.

Report and investigation from the Forsyth county deputies stated that the boy was pulled into a tub of boiling water.

According to the court documents, Huff who was the stepfather of the child is currently arrested and charged with intentional child abuse, which causes serious injury to the child. Following his arrest, he is being held without bond at the Forsyth county detention center and he is scheduled to appear in court on September 6.

Warrant stated that, the four year old boy had serious burn on the lower part of his body after Hufff his stepfather has allegedly put him in the tub of hot water.
