FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — A vehicle crashed into the front of a home in Fayetteville Thursday night, causing significant structural damage, according to the Fayetteville Police Department.
Crash Happened on Blanton Road
Police say the car was traveling along Blanton Road when it entered a sharp curve and left the roadway. After veering off the road, the vehicle crashed through two fences before slamming into the front of a nearby house.
Fire Crews Secure the Scene
Firefighters with the Fayetteville Fire Department shut off power and water to the home as a safety precaution. Officials said the house has been deemed unsafe to live in, and residents will need to find temporary housing.

Police noted that speed may have been a factor, but the investigation is still ongoing. No injuries have been reported at this time.
