His visit came just before a scheduled town hall event in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and an appearance at the Pittsburgh Steelers game later that evening.
Donald Trump Takes a Jab at Kamala Harris’s Past
Donald Trump’s appearance at the fast-food chain follows weeks of mocking Vice President Kamala Harris’s experience working at a McDonald’s during her college years at Howard University. Harris’s campaign recently launched an ad highlighting her working-class roots and her time at the restaurant, aiming to connect with middle-class voters.
Trump, however, has been vocal in questioning the authenticity of Harris’s claims, often suggesting she never actually worked at the chain. “I’ve now worked for 15 minutes more than Kamala,” Trump joked during his brief stint at the drive-thru.
The Harris campaign has not issued a statement regarding Trump’s McDonald’s visit.
