Vice president Kamala Harris is intensifying her outreach to disenchanted Republicans, urging them to support her campaign against Donald Trump.

Harris rallied with a number of her prominent republican supporter in Pennsylvania, she addressed over 100 former Republican officials and criticized Trump as “unstable,” warning that his re-election would threaten democratic principles.
The effort comes as the Trump and Harris campaign seek to reach out to voters outside of their traditional constituencies in an effort to close the margins and make up for ground lost among other groups. Over the past month Harris has escalated her effort to appeal to persuadable Republican candidates.

Harris also participated in a challenging Fox News interview, where she discussed immigration and economic policies, emphasizing her commitment to a different leadership approach than Biden’s. In the latest encouraging sign for Harris, former GOP Rep. Charlie Debt ( D-pa.) who endorsed Joe Biden in 2020, has said he cast his vote for the vice president. This strategy aims to attract GOP voters concerned about Trump’s influence and the future of the party.
