The City of Greensboro has announced a planned closure of Hill Street, spanning from Battleground Avenue to West Bessemer Avenue, commencing Tuesday, August 19, 2025, and continuing through Friday, September 12, 2025. The closure is necessitated by significant sanitary sewer construction work aimed at improving local infrastructure.

While through traffic is restricted, the city has confirmed that Latham Park will remain accessible to local traffic. Motorists are advised to anticipate delays in the vicinity and plan alternate routes accordingly.
