KERNERSVILLE, N.C. — A brand-new Whataburger restaurant is opening its doors in Kernersville this Thursday, marking another step in the fast-food chain’s expansion across North Carolina.
Located at 1152 Solomon Drive in Kernersville, the new location will serve the chain’s signature burgers, chicken sandwiches, and breakfast items when it opens at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday.
According to previous announcements, Whataburger plans to open multiple locations in North Carolina this year as part of its growth strategy.
Residents say excitement is already building, with some checking Facebook groups asking when the opening date will be.
