The City of Greensboro announced that Lawndale Drive will experience nightly lane closures from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., beginning August 18 and concluding August 20 (Monday – Wednesday). These closures are necessary to facilitate water tap servicing for the ongoing Biodome project at the Greensboro Science Center.
Motorists using this stretch—from Orman Road to Beckham Drive—should plan alternate routes to avoid delays. The work schedule remains weather-dependent and may shift if there are delays related to materials or equipment.
