GREENSBORO, N.C. — A person is fighting for his life after an early morning shooting in Greensboro, according to the Greensboro Police Department.

Shooting Reported Around 3:45 A.M.
Police responded to the 1000 block of West Barton Street around 3:45 a.m. Wednesday after receiving a report of gunfire in the area. When officers arrived, they found a victim suffering from life-threatening injuries.
Emergency medical crews provided on-scene treatment before transporting the victim for advanced care.
