
GREENSBORO, N.C. — A man has been charged with attempted murder following a shooting incident on Veasley Street that left one person injured on August 4, 2025.
Police first responded to reports of gunfire just after 9 p.m., but no victim was found at the scene. Shortly afterward, the gunshot victim arrived at a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities have charged the suspect and continue their investigation to uncover more details about the incident.
According to Greensboro police, the charges against Harris include: Attempted first-degree murder
- Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon
- Felony carrying a concealed weapon
- Felony conspiracy
- Discharging a firearm within city limits

Harris remains in the Guilford County Jail for further investigation.
