GREENSBORO, N.C. — A man has died following a shooting Sunday afternoon in Greensboro, according to police.
Officers with the Greensboro Police Department responded around 12:30 p.m. to a report of a shooting in the 2100 block of Joseph McNeil Avenue. When they arrived, they located 33-year-old Marquel Dior Echols suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are investigating the case as a homicide. Authorities have not released information regarding a motive or potential suspects.
