GREENSBORO, N.C(WGHP)- The family of Marissa Carmichael, a 25-year-old mother of five missing since January 14, 2024,is facing a painful Thanksgiving without her. Jamil Ismail, a friend, expressed the deep sense of loss, noting this is their first holiday season without her. Carmichael disappeared after a night out with friends, last seen at an Exxon gas station in Greensboro. Ismail said, he was her at the one 17 sofa bar and lounge, some hours before she went missing. Surveillance footage shows when Carmichael got into a car and leaving the gas station.

Carmichael is described as a biracial woman, she’s around 5-4 foot and weighs about 260 pounds, she has a long black and blond braids, she also has a heart tattoo on her face alongside a butterfly tattoo near her eye.
Despite ongoing search efforts and police investigations, her whereabouts remain unknown. Ismail encourages others in similar situations to maintain hope and faith during challenging times. Anyone who has information about her whereabout should contact the Greensboro police department.
