(WGHP)- North Carolina school has experience delay for Wednesday, this was due to inclement weather, several school systems in the Piedmont Triad area are experiencing delays on Wednesday morning, December 4, 2024. The delays are primarily attributed to concerns over icy roads.
The following below are the schools delayed for Two hours ;
• Ashe County schools
• Asheboro City schools
• Davidson County schools
• Davie County schools
• Guilford County schools and some other schools , including Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools, have announced delays of up to two hours. Parents and students are advised to check with their individual schools for the latest updates on schedules and safety measures.
What led to delay in some schools in North Carolina is as a result of hazardous weather
Probably, if Wednesday looks wet overnight or early, it means black ice could have formed. It is advisable to be caution in shaded areas and places close to the bridges so as to overpass afternoon temperatures on Wednesday, which reach the mid – 40s with mostly Sunny skies and breezy southwest winds.
