Suspect killed in attempted brinks truck robbery in whitesett.
A suspected robber was killed during an attempted robbery of a Brink’s armored truck in Whitsett, North Carolina on Tuesday morning
The incident occurred around 9:15 a.m. in a grocery store parking lot off Burlington Road near Golf House Road W. One person was found dead with a gunshot wound when deputies arrived at the scene. The identity of the deceased has not been released.
Guilford County deputies stated that this appears to be an isolated incident and there is no immediate threat to the community. A woman who witness the incident called 911 reported hearing gunshots and seeing a man in a dark gray sedan leave the area after the attempted robbery.
