Three Children abducted from Virginia found safe in Alabama

BIRMINGHAM , ALA, (WIAT)- Three missing children from Augusta in Virginia were found safe in Alabama on December 5, 2024. At about 8:27am, the ASCO was alerted to a kidnapping that had taken place at an apartment complex in fisherville, where the caller’s three  children were taken at the bus stop.

The Three abducted  child was found safe and unharmed in  Alabama

   The children whose identity are Jai’Marcus Elijah Lewis  age 10- year old, Ja’Miya Tiana Lewis age  8- year old  and Ja’Liyah Monae Lewis age 6 year old were believed to be in extreme danger after disappearing near their home.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) acted quickly upon receiving an AMBER Alert and located the children’s vehicle on Interstate  1-459 in Jefferson county.

All three children were found safe and unharmed.  It was said that their mother whose name was  Shanice Chante Davison of 35 years old was responsible for the children’s abduction and, was arrested for being a fugitive from justice. There was also two persons in the vehicle. The ASCO express her profound gratitude to the Virginia state police, united states Marshall’s office, The FBI, Alabama law enforcement agency (ALEA) the Jefferson county and other armed forces in Virginia and Tennessee for working tirelessly to ensure these three children were found safe. Investigation is ongoing at the moment.
