A man named Joshua Bailey, a 36- year old Greensboro man was involved in a tragic motorcycle accident after being hit and thrown from motorcycle in GSO, resulting to his death.Bailey on his way to north on interstate 73 on a Suzuki motorcycle was struck by a 2007 Acura. After being thrown from the motorcycle another vehicle hit him in which he died instantly at the spot.
Motorcycle crashed that led to Bailey’s death.
The incident happened near exit 100 for gate city Boulevard at around 10:06 p.m. on September 23, 2024. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash wherby all lanes of interstate 73 North Carolina were closed as the result of the incident. The traffic camera footage showed heavy congestion on 1-73 North which might have might led to the accident.
However, charges hasn’t been filled yet as investigation is ongoing by the GPD’s.
