Trump plans to attend reopening of Notre Dame Cathedral, Paris

(THE HILL)- Donald Trump will attend the reopening ceremony of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris this weekend, marking his first foreign trip as U.S. president-elect. He announce this on a post, saying he will be traveling to Paris, France, on Saturday to attend the reopening of the Magnificent and historic Notre Dame Cathedral, which has been restored after an unexpected events of fire outbreak, in 2019

The event commemorates the cathedral’s restoration following a devastating fire, with it’s spire and wooden latticework of its roof Collapsing, Donald Trump who was the president of U.S at the time, lamented the fire at an occasion, in Minnesota.

Trump set to visit Paris, France, ahead of the reopening of Notre Dame Cathedral this weekend

Approximately 50 heads of state are expected to join him, with French President Emmanuel Macron praising the restoration efforts as a healing of a “national wound” . The ceremony will feature a service led by Archbishop Laurent Ulrich and a concert, with heightened security measures in place. The ceremony will hold on Saturday and Sunday which is said to be on the 7th and 8th of December, 2024, also backed by an Octave of events untill December 15, 2024.
