GREENSBORO, NC – June 29, 2025 — An overnight West Gate City Boulevard crash caused major traffic disruption early Sunday morning, as Greensboro Police shut down all southbound lanes near the intersection of High Point Road. The accident happened just after midnight and involved multiple vehicles. Emergency crews responded quickly to the scene, and at least one person was transported to the hospital with injuries.
Authorities have not yet released the name of the injured individual or the cause of the crash. Investigators were seen surveying the area for several hours as debris was cleared and damaged vehicles were removed from the roadway. All lanes were temporarily closed, resulting in early-morning delays for commuters in the area.
