WWINSTON- SALEM, N.C(WGHP)- A Winston-Salem firetruck overturned early on Tuesday morning due to icy conditions while responding to another vehicle accident. The incident happened due to the cause by the snowy condition in Triad.
Winston-Salem fire truck overturns as a result of hazardous weather at the area
The incident occurred at about 5:30 a.m. at the intersection of Glenn Hi Road and Trotter Farm Road where the accident took place, one crew member sustained injuries. The fire department shared images of the flipped truck on social media, highlighting the hazardous weather impacting the piedmont Triad area, which has also led to school delays and other traffic incidents across the area .The Fire department said, people should take notes, be conscious of that area and drive safely in these hazardous situations.
