BURLINGTON, N.C. — A late-night stabbing has left a woman in critical condition, prompting an urgent investigation by the Burlington Police Department.
Police Respond to North Church Street at 11:15 p.m.
According to authorities, officers were dispatched around 11:15 p.m. Tuesday to the 500 block of North Church Street after receiving multiple reports of a stabbing. When officers arrived, they discovered a woman suffering from severe injuries consistent with an assault involving a knife.
First responders provided aid at the scene before transporting the victim to a nearby hospital. She remains in critical condition, police confirmed.
Investigators Searching for Suspect
