GREENSBORO, N.C. – A tragic incident occurred early Saturday morning on Interstate 40 when a woman was killed in a hit-and-run, according to the Greensboro Police Department.
At approximately 12:29 a.m., a gray 2014 Infiniti Q50, traveling eastbound on I-40, struck the rear of a 2007 Acura RDX. The impact caused the Acura to veer off the road to the left, hit a guardrail, and roll over, resulting in the ejection of the front passenger, Priscilla Keene, 30, of Greensboro. Keene succumbed to her injuries at the scene.

The driver of the Acura and a 3-year-old child also in the car sustained injuries that are reported to be non-life-threatening. Following the crash, the driver of the Infiniti fled the scene, abandoning the disabled vehicle nearby.
The Greensboro Police are actively investigating the hit-and-run. They are urging anyone with information to contact Greensboro/Guilford Crime Stoppers at 336-373-1000.
